Dedham Officials Celebrate Legacy Place Day

Town of Dedham: The Board of Selectmen of the Town of Dedham issued a proclamation last Thursday, permanently designating September 12th as “Legacy Place Day.” In addition, Legacy Place was presented with a congratulatory citation from the

Commonwealth of Massachusetts signed by Speaker of the Massachusetts House Robert A. DeLeo. For the past 10 years, Legacy Place has served as a retail, dining and entertainment destination for the Dedham community and beyond. “Since its debut in 2009, Legacy Place has remained a celebrated cornerstone of the Dedham community for its award-winning offerings, as well as family-friendly events, seasonal festivities and charitable fundraisers that support local causes,” said Dimitria Sullivan, Board of Selectmen from the Town of Dedham. Representative Paul McMurtry, Massachusetts House of Representatives from the Eleventh Norfolk District, shared his congratulations on this important milestone adding, “Legacy Place has delivered a decade of customer service, community engagement, job creation and economic development, not only in Dedham, but in the Greater Boston region. Legacy Place has become the primary destination for first class retail, restaurants and services, providing the ultimate shopping, dining and entertainment experience for all who visit.” “We are so honored to receive this Proclamation on our 10 th Anniversary from the Town of Dedham.
