Dedham Officials Install Town's First 'Little Library'
The new structure is now visible in front of Dedham Town Hall.

Dedham residents may notice something different in the front of Dedham Town Hall these days: A little library set on a post, the first of its kind in town.
Town officials announced the new “little library” late Friday, and plan to announce more details regarding the initiative and when the library will be available for use in the days to come. The library is one of three expected to be installed this summer in Dedham.
The little library is a joint effort by the Dedham Library Innovation Team and Dedham High School, in association with the Dedham Square Artist Guild, which are aiming to promote literacy and the love of reading in town as well as “foster a sense of community and connection as we share skills, creativity and wisdom across generations,” according to the “Dedham Little Free Library Project” Facebook page.
