Dedham Receives Funds to Revamp the Square

Dedham Square is on track for a major facelift following a successful bid to secure about $1.2 million in grant funding.

State officials will make the announcement at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the Keystone parking lot on the corner of Eastern Avenue and High Street.

With the backdrop of the farmers market, the town, and Dedham Square Circle, will get a big boost in its mission to revitalize the Square.

Plans call for wider brick sidewalks, new lamp posts, improvements to traffic flow and many more changes.
