Dedham Survivor Update: Burgers and Beer
A big rewards challenge win meant a short break from the game for Dedham's Brett LaBell.

After nearly a month into the game, one cannot be blamed if they go a bit overboard if they find themselves at a burger bar with unlimited alcoholic beverages.
That’s the situation Dedham’s Brett LaBell ended up in, following a rewards challenge win on this week’s episode of Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X.
The remaining members of the tribe were split into two teams of six and had to go through an obstacle, grab a key, unlock a box from a rope, drag the rope under a net, and throw five bolo balls on a structure. The team of Chris, Brett, Sunday, David Ken and Taylor won the challenge and the burgers and booze.

Originally, Brett planned on pacing himself but that went out the window when he saw his first drink.and the view.
“Keep them coming until I drop,” he yelled to the waiter. “I’m going to drink as much as I can.”

By Chris’ estimate, Brett consumed eight or nine drinks.
“He was getting loud but that’s just Brett,” Chris said.
He was less successful in the immunity challenge, where contestants had to stand on a narrow beam while balancing a ball on a wooden bow. At regular intervals, they had to walk forward and it gets more narrow. If the ball falls, you’re out.
As the second person out, Brett walked away wishing he took the alternative option of sitting out the game while enjoying grilled ham and cheese sandwiches, potato chips, soda, and beer.
At tribal council, a bombshell was dropped as tempers escalated between Taylor, Jay, and Adam. During the heated argument, Taylor lied about Adam eating from his stolen food supply and told everyone that Adam has an advantage that allows him to take away a rewards challenge win.
"I think what we have here is several different errors and I think what we need to figure out is whose the most culpable," Brett said,
The alliance to eliminate Taylor remained, knocking him out of the game with seven votes. Adam received four, and Adam received one.
Next week is the annual Thanksgiving Eve two-hour episode.
Survivor airs Wednesday at 8 p.m. on CBS.
