Dedham Survivor Update: Welcome to the Tribe Merge

Three tribes became one on this week's episode of Survivor.

From the brink to elimination to making the merge, Dedham’s Bret Labelle certainly saw his fortunes change on Wednesday night’s episode of Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X.

Last week, LaBelle was on his way out before a late blindside sent Michaela Bradshaw out of the game. This week saw the three tribes come together to form the Vinaka Tribe.

“I went from terrified to going to the merge. Now the whole game is opening up for me,” LaBelle said.

Reunited with the remaining Generation X members, LaBelle and Chris Hammons were left to figure out who could be in their alliance and who couldn’t be trusted. One thing was for certain in their mind and it was the need to vote out millennials to nullify their 7-6 advantage.

In the immunity challenge, contestants had to balance on a narrow perch with their hands up on a lever connected to a bucket of water. If they lost their balance, the lever went down along with the water. As the last one dry, Will Wahl received immunity.

At tribal council, Michelle Schubert was sent home with nine votes. Adam Klein received four.
