The Dedham Water Trail on the Charles River was designated a National Recreational Trail site in 2014 as part of a system of trails and greenways on water and over land, combining nature, wildlife, outdoor activity and history. The Dedham Trails land trail network connects the Dolan Recreation Complex with Whitcomb Woods, Wilson Mountain and NewBridge on the Charles’ trail network.
