Dedham TV Producer Nominated for Local Emmy
Brian Kerby received a nomination for audio production.

DEDHAM, MA - A locally man has been nominated for an Emmy.
This week, the Dedham TV and Media Engagement Center announce that Brian Kerby received a National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (New England Chapter) Emmy nomination for audio production. Kerby is the producer, host and audio engineer of the Dedham TV program “502 Sessions.” The talk and music show features musicians and bands performing original music.
“This is the second year in a row a Dedham TV production has been nominated, and it’s really exciting,” Dedham TV Executive Director Donna Greer said in a release.

"Every show is different; one month we might have a solo pianist, the next month a 30 piece orchestra, then next a bluegrass trio, then a jazz quintet, and then a country rock band, followed by a singer/songwriter. The variety keeps me on my audio mixing toes,” Kerby said. “I’m very grateful for a grant that the studio received last year from Dedham Savings Bank, which allowed us a much needed upgrade in audio equipment. I’m also thankful for all of the support from Donna and Dan (Dedham TV’s Director of IT, Operations & Training). Admittedly, I can be a bit of a bother around here, so I’m appreciative of the fact that they put up with me.”
Kerby will attend the Emmy Awards Ceremony, along with his wife Terry and Dan Hallissey and his wife.
