The Dragonfly Theater is proud to announce its production of “My Three Angels,” opening Thursday, Dec.4 at the Mother Brook Arts & Community Center and running two weekends through Sunday, Dec. 14.
Tickets are available via the group’s website at www.dragonflytheater.net, by calling 781-492-2239 and at a discount rate at www.goldstar.com. On Black Friday, tickets will be available on Goldstar at a reduced rate of $5.
The play is set in French Guyana in December 1910 and features a trio of convicts who befriend a French family down on their luck and about to be swindled out of their home by distant relatives. Directed by Charles Hughes and produced by Dragonfly Theatre’s managing director Beca Gates, the play is a “dark comedy” which was made into a movie in the 1950s starring Humphrey Bogart.

While not your standard Christmas play, the story does take place between Dec. 24 and 25 and touches on many holiday themes, including family, redemption, unrequited love, and the power of hope. There will be eight shows in all: Thursday-Friday-Saturday at 8 p.m. both weekends, and two Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. both weekends.
