
Gillian Jackson was born and raised in the north of England. She attended the University of Warwick in the UK receiving a BA in Sociology. In 1982, she moved to Bermuda where,
inspired by the clear bright light, startling colours and contrasts, she began studying and pursuing photography.
She now resides in Brookline MA and is a Dedham Square Artist Guild Member. She has more art and Prints on display the the Guild.
Her Series is called Art Deco: Miami.

Gillian felt the pastel colors, indicative of Art Deco architecture, were so visually appealing, She felt that the distinct lines, patterns and symmetry of the buildings are shown more dramatically in a black and white format.
