Spring Concert in Dedham on May 20
The Dedham Music Association presents the Parkway Concert Orchestra in a concert of music "The Final Frontier" on Sunday, May 20 at 3 p.m. at Dedham Middle School, 70 Whiting Avenue, Dedham. Music Director and Conductor Matthew Fritz has chosen a lively program including Mars and Jupiter from The Planets by Gustav Holst and selections from Superman, Return of the Jedi and Star Trek. The program also features Boston Symphony Orchestra violinist Lucia Lin, in Antonín Dvořák's Romance, Op. 11, and selections from Schindler’s List.
This concert is sponsored by Dedham Savings and is supported in part by a grant from the Dedham Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency. Proceeds to benefit the Music Association of Dedham High School.
