Parkway Girls Softball League 5th Annual Comedy Nite

The Parkway Girls Softball League (PGSL) will hold its 5th Annual Comedy Night Fundraiser on Friday, January 28th, 2011 from 730pm to midnight at the Elks Hall in West Roxbury.  Proceeds from PGSL’s wildly popular and only major fundraiser support fun, instructional, and competitive softball for over 375 girls ages 7 to 17 from West Roxbury, Roslindale, Hyde Park, Dorchester, Jamaica Plain, Dedham, and Brookline. Joey Yannetty and Mike Whitman will be this year’s featured comedians.  Entertainment will also include a disc jockey, music and dancing until midnight, silent auction items, a 50-50 raffle, a wine pull, and other prizes.  Silent auction items will include sports tickets and memorabilia, golf packages, gift baskets, and many more! Hot and cold hors d’oeuvres will be served; and a full bar will be available.  Tickets are $35 each, and can be purchased by calling 1-857-205-7129 (ask for Patty), or by leaving a message at the PGSL voicemail at 1-617-571-3457.  Doors open at 730pm, and ticket sales are limited, so be sure to order early! Anyone wishing to donate silent auction items may call either of the above numbers.  All contributions are tax-deductible. Updated information about PGSL and Comedy Night can also be found by checking the league website at www.parkwaygirlssbl.com.
