On Sunday, March 25, St. Paul's Episcopal Church will offer to the Dedham community the Messe de Requiem by French composer André Campra, who served as Maitre de Musique at Notre Dame de Paris from 1694 to 1700. Though a sacred work, his Requiem Mass displays the same fiery brilliance as the composer's elaborate theatrical productions.
The mass will be performed by choir, orchestra and soloists at St. Paul's in the context of the parish's regular 10:00 a.m. Service of Holy Eucharist. All are welcome.
