Finally, Substantial Snowfall Seems Reality in Dedham

A dose of winter weather may finally be coming to the Dedham area next week.

After a balmy Christmas, Dedham residents will likely be forced to finally unpack their hats and gloves this week. Forecasters are suggesting that winter weather is likely heading towards the area.

Snow is in the forecast Monday night and Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service. A mixture of winter weather is also a possibility. In addition, it seems that snow is becoming more likely with each passing day.

  • Monday Night: There is a chance of rain and snow before 7:00 p.m. There will be a low of around 26 degrees and a 80 percent chance of precipitation.
  • Tuesday: Snow is likely before 9:00 a.m., then rain and snow are likely between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. There will be a 90 percent chance of precipitation and a high of 39 degrees.
  • Tuesday Night: There is a chance of rain before 2:00 a.m. It will be mostly cloudy with a low of approximately 32 degrees and a 40 percent chance of precipitation.
