DEDHAM, MA —Restaurants are reaching out to former Papa Gino's employees, offering employment to those who lost their jobs when the pizza chain shut down close to 95 stores Sunday.
Domino's Pizza said they are trying to hire more than 1,000 new team members. The company is offering a one-week holiday bonus to former Papa Gino's employees who work at least 45 days at Domino's.
“Domino’s stores throughout the area felt compelled to help, as one of our local competitors closed almost 100 stores on Sunday without notice, leaving hundreds of individuals without jobs right before the holidays,” said David Jenks, a local Domino’s franchise owner. “Our local stores need additional team members, and we would love to help out those who just lost their jobs.”
