Gallery: Snow Recovery Day in Dedham

After a two-day storm that left Dedham under ice, many of the streets are cleared, but sidewalks remain impassable.

Following two days of snow, freezing rain and sleet - the full gambit of winter precipitation - Dedham residents and business owners are trying to shovel out from the latest snowstorm.

Driving and looking around the town, many sidewalks remain under a layer of ice, and some are blocked by snow banks 8 feet high making it difficult for not just pedestrians, but also drivers attempting to see into an intersection.

The Keystone Lot in Dedham Square still has dozens of spots not dug out, forcing drivers without four-wheel drive to come back out of the parking lot and find a spot on the street.

Just a reminder that crews will be working to remove snow around Dedham as the town braces for possible storms this weekend and early next week. Keep cars out of the streets where possible to make removing snow easier for the DPW.

Is your sidewalk blocked by a snow bank or tough to see around the mound of snow at an intersection? Submit your photos to this article with where the intersection is.
