Hyde Park Man Arrested on Weapons, Drug Charges

arrested 21-year-old William Arias, of Hyde Park, on Thursday afternoon after Boston Police put a call out to stop his vehicle as part of an on-going drug investigation.

Police pulled Arias' grey Volkswagon Jetta over on Rustcraft road and found two double-edged knives inside his Jetta, according to a police report.

At the Dedham Police station, officers found a large plastic bag that had 42 bags of heroin, weighing 14 grams, and 10 bags of cocaine, weighing 5 grams, police stated.

Arias was charged with possession of a Class B and a Class A substance with intent to distribute both. He was charged with two counts of carrying a dangerous weapon.
