Introducing New Patch Column "You Ask ... Dedham Patch Answers"

We'll answer the questions burning on your minds about bothersome issues, local mysteries or anything else you can come up with.

Have you ever wondered why that pothole on High Street is still there? Why temporary seems to be more permanent? Or the promise of revamping Dedham Square hasn't happened?

Well, so do we and we're going to do something about it. But we can't do it without your help!

You Ask … Patch Answers is a weekly column for locals looking for solutions to community problems or issues. Everything from deer control to potholes to eye-sores to local mysteries: Why does the Avery School only have bathrooms in the basement? Why are officials talking about slicing library hours? Why didn't they build the bike path on the railraod tracks? Why have street lights been out for years?

Why? WHY?! WHY?!?!
