Local Crafters at the Dedham Junior Women's Club 35th Annual Craft Show
Two local women to join over 90 crafters at Dedham Middle School on Saturday, Nov. 19th at the DJWC's Craft Show.
On Saturday, November 19th, there will be over 90 crafters at the Dedham Junior Women's Club's 35th Annual Craft Show at the Dedham Middle School.
Joining the 90 crafters are two local women who will have booths at the show. Peggy Dellea and Jen Ferrera will be selling their unique crafts of clock books and Santa bags.
When asked about her clock books, Peggy Dellea said "I like this craft because it brings new life to old books. Often I will find books that are in rough condition that would otherwise be headed to the trash. But I think my favorite part is matching the book clock with the person. I once made a Snoopy book clock for a child who played Snoopy in Your A Good Man Charlie Brown. I have made book clocks with titles that match someone's nickname, and made a clock from a book of love poems for a wedding present. The other fun part is that my inventory is always changing. What I have depends on what I have found in my travels. You never know what you will find when you stop by my table." This will be Peggy's third year at the craft show.

Jen Ferrera is a newbie at the show, however she is no stranger to crafting as evident on her Facebook page JENius Creations. Using her imagination and silhouette cameo, Jen creates a variety of t-shirts and Santa Sack Bags. The Santa Sack Bags will be on sale at the craft show and can be personalized for every little girl or boy.
The Craft Show is the largest fundraiser held by the Dedham Junior Women's Club. Proceeds from the show are used to help other local organizations, non-profits and community groups.
