More Road Paving, Town Calls for Committee Volunteers

What's going on this week at Town Hall? Here is a peek:

• The town's public works department will pave Alden Street Monday, and ask residents to move their cars from the street by 7 a.m. The road will be closed to traffic for parts of the day.
• Both the main library and Endicott Library will be closed on Labor Day.

The Town of Dedham is looking to fill vacancies on the following committees. Applications will be accepted up until the bolded date:

• Ad-Hoc Efficient Government Task Force - to find best practices for making town government work more efficient. (Sept. 1)
• Master Plan Implementation Committee - implement recommended actions, work with multiple town boards and provide a level of oversight for the town's master plan. (Sept. 1)
• Cultural Council - May oversee distribution of allocated funds and find ways to promote the arts in town. (Sept. 1)
