One-day Trunk show at the Dedham Guild, this Thursday

See the work of Marie Lim at the Dedham Guild this Thursday 10-6pm

Join us on Thursday December 18th from 10am to 6pm for a one-day artist showcase featuring work by artist Marie Lim.

Marie Lim is a printmaker, potter and fiber artist, who after studying art and literature in college, went on to become a Waldorf School educator. In teaching the arts and mythology of Africa, she developed motifs that are essential to all of her creative media. Whether the Tsui-goab (the rain god), Aido-hwedo (the rainbow serpent) or other images, each of her prints are hand-carved and inked with subtle and sometimes vibrant earth tones, then printed and matted for display.

Recently diagnosed at age 58 with early-onset Alzheimer’s, Marie and her family are offering her intriguing limited edition prints for purchase.
