Pine Street Paving Project to Begin Monday in Dedham

Dedham Department of Public Works crews plan to begin a paving project along Pine Street starting Monday morning.

The effort will include the reclamation of the roadway, grading and asphalt paving, according to a recent announcement by the Dedham DPW. The first portion of the project will include cutting, removing and repaving the sidewalk along Pine Street and preparing the road to be milled and overlaid, according to the announcement.

The work will begin at around 7 a.m. on Monday, July 28, when crews will remove manhole covers and begin to cut driveways and sidewalks.

The project itself is expected to take about four to five weeks to complete, according to the DPW. During that time, vehicle access is expected to be delayed; all vehicles will need to clear the area prior to 7 a.m.
