Mona Podgurski was born in Boston and currently resides in Canton. She is a graduate of Blue Hills Technical Institute, where she received an Associate degree in commercial art, and Bridgewater State University, where she completed her Bachelor of Arts in fine art.. Mona is primarily a draftsman who prefers to teach and show in pastel and drawing, although she does work in watercolor and oil. She is a Signature Member of the Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod and the Pastel Painters of Maine, and is currently President of the Canton Art Association.
