Stuff-a-Truck Challenge Provides Gifts for At-Risk Children and Families

The Home for Little Wanderers and WCVB-TV Channel 5 are challenging the community to Stuff-a-Truck full of holiday gifts for children and families living in at-risk circumstances on Thursday, Dec. 4.

Drop off a new, unwrapped toy, gift card or winter coat to the Bernie & Phyl’s truck parked at Legacy Place in Dedham from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

A recent press release indicated that the Home for Little Wanderers’ goal is to collect thousands of donated gifts and toys in a single day to go towards the Big Wishes Gift Drive, helping the children and families in The Home’s programs. Now in its fifth year, the Stuff-a-Truck event has collected more than 10,000 holiday gifts for youth at The Home since it began.

For donors who are unable to drop off a gift in person, The Home has launched a virtual Stuff-a-Truck online.
