UPDATED: Dedham Restaurant Highlighted by Globe's Food Section
Welcome to "About Town," a column that will keep you up to the minute with what's what, who's who and what the town's talking about. Check in often, because we will be updating often. And if you see or hear something we could use here, let us know.

Congratulations are in order for Kouzina Estiatorio for being acknowledged in the Boston Globe today. They are very thankful to Sheryl Julian, food editor of the Boston Globe, for her kind words. “That authentic Greek restaurant is loved by many, and is well deserving of this recognition,” said Ann Castle, who loves their Hummus and warm pita bread.
It is great to have a Dedham business honored by recognition, even though now we’ll have to share our own touch of Greek with the world instead of keeping it to ourselves.

With yesterday's surprising snow of approximately four inches, Ann Mercer, a Dedham resident, happened to have her driveway plowed with no idea of who did it.
Dedham is that great a town where out of the goodness of someone’s heart, you can look outside after we receive a little snow to find that your driveway has been taken care of for you.

She was surprised and could only say thank you, hoping that the deserved recipient would hear her.
Signatures Needed
Selectman Paul Reynolds is calling on residents to help create a Town Charter Commission this year. Fifteen years have passed since Dedham reviewed the charter, according to Reynolds.
Volunteers have collected 900 signatures in the past year, but about 2,000 more are needed to create the commission. Reynolds said he hopes to get the signatures by the end of the month.
No More Snow
As we received a little more snow, Dedham residents are curious about where we can put it all.
“With mounds as high as four feet tall or bigger all around Dedham it’s amazing that people where able to get their areas cleaned at all,” said Nadler Jean-Pierre, a Dedham resident. “I had planned to go out and shovel a little, but by the time the snow stopped the rain started which killed my plans a little.”
Thankfully there was only a little bit of snowfall yesterday, but now there is the worry of ice everywhere. Make sure to be careful and hopefully we won’t receive any more snow, we are losing places to put it.
