Dedham, MA — Fourth of July weekend is here and that means fireworks will light up the sky.

While Dedham does not do fireworks on the Fourth of July, many towns in the area will have displays through Monday. Here's a list of nearby places where you can celebrate the Fourth of July with fireworks.

NEEDHAM

The Needham Fourth of July fireworks will take place on July 3 at 9 p.m. at Memorial Park.

CANTON

The Canton Fourth of July fireworks will take place on July 4 at 9:15 p.m. at The Irish Cultural Centre at 200 New Boston Rd.

NEWTON

Set for July 4 at 9 p.m. Each year, The Fessenden School’s athletic fields, located along Albemarle Road, serve as a major viewing area for Newton’s fireworks. This year, the fields are under significant construction and will not be available to spectators. For safety reasons, the city is asking that visitors seek alternate viewing locations.

WALTHAM

The celebration takes place on July 4 at Leary Field. The fireworks display will begin at 9:30 p.m.
