Yard House Offering up Special Valentine's Menu

For the Valentine's holiday, delved deep into the cookbooks to find dishes to help couples find love this week with its annual aphrodisiac menu.

The restaurant's manager Stephani Dazzo laid out the options for couples to dine on Monday and Tuesday, many featuring seafood to get everyone in the mood.

"We do anticipate people coming in, especially with the different types of specials we offer," Dazzo said. "There's not only the food, but there is also some Valentine's Day drink specials as well."

Special seafood dinner dishes just for the holiday of love include: pan roasted halibut, and lobster macaroni and cheese, and for appetizers, shrimp ceviche and kung pao calamari. The restaurant also is serving up a rib eye for land lovers.

While many know Yard House for its extensive draught list for an after-work pint, bartenders are mixing new connoctions to add a bit of potion to a couple's date.

"Valentine's Day is going to be a special holiday to many people. Having a special menu where we can bring different flavors together - a little bit of sweet and a little bit of salty and a kidn of sultry flavor profile - and just beign able to get something different," Dazzo said.

In addition to the different flavors, couples can expect a bit of love music to help create the right atmosphere, said Dazzo.
