Free but please register at Eventbrite for parking information!Please join us for a guided walk in the Trustees' Peters Reservation into DLCT's Porter Woodlands and into the Trustees' Chase Woodlands, sponsored by the Dover Open Space Committee (OSC).
Kids encouraged. Walks will not be too strenuous but will be over uneven and possibly wet ground so wear appropriate footwear and bring walking sticks, binoculars and cameras.
Sorry, no dogs in Peters &amp; Chase. We will stroll in misty rain to shine.
Parking information will be e-mailed to those registered on Friday at 10:30 am. If you are registering after 10:30 am on Friday, please check your e-mail on Saturday morning for parking information.
Note: We may NOT be meeting at the Chase/Peters parking lot as it only holds 4 cars.

The 43rd Annual Needham High School Craft Fair will take place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 9 am to 3 pm at Needham High School. Come shop from over 100 Local Vendors featuring affordable, high quality unique items, and from our incredible Bake Sale with homemade favorites prepared by our wonderful community, plus donations from local restaurants &amp; bakeries.
All proceeds benefit Needham High School PTC programs that support NHS students throughout the year.&nbsp;

Needham High School Artisan Craft Fair and Bake Sale

Join us for Teen Test Kitchen! As the leaves begin to change and the days get a little cooler, we’re inviting teen chefs into the Powisset Kitchen for an afternoon of cooking, creativity, and fall flavors.
This time, we’re putting pies to the test! Teens will work hands-on with seasonal ingredients while learning the techniques behind making a delicious pie from scratch. From preparing the perfect crust to creating a flavorful fall filling, participants will build their kitchen skills, experiment with flavors, and leave with a pie of their own creation.
This hands-on class is a chance for kids to build confidence in the kitchen while exploring where their food comes from and what makes fall cooking special. And, of course, they’ll head home with recipes they can make again with their families.
Come spend a fall afternoon in the kitchen with us—we’ll cook, create, and enjoy some delicious seasonal treats along the way!
Whenever possible, ingredients will be sourced directly from our farm. This hands-on program is designed to be fun, creative, and educational, giving children the chance to experience two different aspects of farm life in one engaging day.
This drop-off class is designed for children ages 12-16. Pre-registration is required. Registration closes 24 hours prior to class. Minimum of 8 participants required for class to take place. Please Note:  Powisset is NOT a nut-free or gluten-free kitchen.

The weather is getting colder, the days are getting shorter, and it’s time to warm up with some savory delights for dinner. In this hands-on adult cooking class, we’ll create traditional cottage pie and marry Italian flavors with chicken pot pie to create a mushroom-laced marsala pie to die for.
Included in this class:
<ul><li>Cooking demonstration and hands-on learning experience.</li><li>Instruction from an experienced, top-notch instructor.</li><li>Recipes to take home.</li><li>At the end of each class, the opportunity to enjoy the food you created.</li></ul>
This is an adults-only course. If you would like to bring an adult beverage to class, please feel free.

Did you know barnyard animals love Halloween too?!
Join us on Halloween for this special children’s Trick or Treat event at Powisset Farm. Children are encouraged to wear their costumes and share their festive looks with the goats, sheep, chickens, and pigs in the Powisset Barnyard. Decorate a Halloween bag, then collect treats from our barnyard friends, find the hidden pumpkins on our pumpkin scavenger hunt, play pumpkin toss and take a hayride! We will have farm fresh brick oven pizza, cookies, cotton candy, cider, beer and wine for purchase. Cash &amp; card are accepted. 
Note: Boo in the Barnyard is Rain or Shine
Preregistration is required. Children under 2 years-old do not need a ticket. This is not a drop-off program. All children must be accompanied by an adult. 
Please note, although we love our four-legged friends, dogs are not allowed at Powisset Farm.

Have you ever tried Korean food? This is the perfect time to try it! Get ready to spice up your after school cooking with these recipes. You’ll be starting with fiery-sweet tteokbokki, featuring chewy rice cakes tossed in a rich, gochujang-spiked sauce. Next, we’ll build the ultimate bibimbap, layering colorful vegetables, savory toppings, and a perfectly fried egg over steaming rice, all brought together with a punchy homemade sauce. And because no Korean feast is complete without something tangy and refreshing, we’ll finish with crisp cucumber kimchi packed with garlic, chili, and plenty of zing.
