Dover-Sherborn High School Listed Among Top High Schools in Massachusetts

The school topped U.S. News and World Report's 2017 Best High School list.

DOVER, MA — Dover-Sherborn High School received a gold medal for being one the best high schools in Massachusetts, according to the U.S. News and World Report’s 2017 Best High Schools report.

Dover-Sherborn placed fourth in the state and 217th nationally. Boston Latin School was named the top high school in Massachusetts.

The ranking was good enough to earn a gold medal, which is given to the top 500 schools based on their highest college readiness scores.

These are Dover-Sherborn vital stats, according to the survey:

  • 12:1 student-teacher ratio
  • 70.0 college readiness score
  • 72 percent participate in AP exams
  • 96 percent pass AP exams
  • 99 percent proficiency in math
  • 100 percent proficiency in English
  • 98 percent graduation rate
