DSEF Grant Funds Hip-Hop Artist's Visit to Dover Sherborn High School

Moufy visits DSHS

On Thursday, November 6th, Dover Sherborn High School juniors and seniors welcomed Boston hip-hop artist Moufy. Moufy, a Roxbury native who graduated from Tilton Academy, was recently named best new artist at the Boston Music Awards. His performance was funded through the Local Poets Grant from the Dover Sherborn Education Fund (DSEF) as well as the high school administration. Students were ecstatic to hear several songs, as well as learn about how Moufy has managed to build a successful business from the ground up. His three mantras: “you are who you think you are,” “live in vision,” and “have a mental business plan,” resonated with both the students and the staff in attendance.
