Join us to hear Dr. Kindlon talk about the types of unique challenges boys encounter as they grow up, and how to cultivate and seek out the support and connections boys need to better navigate the world in front of them.
Dan Kindlon, Ph.D. is faculty member at Harvard University and a clinical and research psychologist who specializes in the emotional health of children and adolescents. In over 20 years of clinical practice--encompassing psychotherapy, neuropsychology and school consultation--Dr. Kindlon has focused on the diagnosis and treatment of emotional problems, learning disabilities and attention deficit disorders. He is the author of numerous scientific journal articles and three books, including the 1999 New York Times bestseller, “Raising Cain: Protecting the Emotional Life of Boys,” co-authored with Michael Thompson. He has made numerous national media appearances on The Today Show, 20/20, CNN, and National Public Radio.
