Sherborn COA Lifetime Learning Program Presents: Professional Baseball in Boston (1871 – 2011), Highlights and Lowlights

Bats are cracking in Fort Meyers and opening day will soon be upon us. It’s the perfect time to join Herb Crehan, Boston’s baseball historian in a Lifetime Learning course that will cover Boston’s team from its inception in 1871 to the present day.

Crehan’s course entitled Professional Baseball in Boston (1871 – 2011), Highlights and Lowlights is part of Lifetime Learning, a program provided by the Sherborn COA.

Adults of all ages are invited to attend the four sessions scheduled for April 12, 19, 26 and May 3 at 10:00 A.M. in the Sherborn Town Hall, 19 Washington Street. The cost is $35 for the four sessions.

Crehan has written over 100 feature articles for the official program of the Boston Red Sox during his 17 seasons with the club and is the author of two books. He will draw on over 100 interviews with former Red Sox players ranging from Bobby Doerr through Trot Nixon. For more information or to register, call 508 651-7858.
