• Woman injured after jumping from second story of burning building in Everett (nbcboston.com) — A Franklin Street apartment building in Everett caught fire late Friday morning, injuring a woman who jumped from a second-floor window and displacing 15 residents. Two firefighters also suffered non-life-threatening injuries while battling the blaze, which took about an hour to extinguish and remains under investigation by state fire officials.
