4th Of July Fireworks 2021 Canceled In Falmouth
Falmouth's traditional Fourth of July events may be canceled, but there are several other ways you can celebrate Independence Day.
FALMOUTH, MA — Although coronavirus cases continue to drop across the country while the number of those who are fully vaccinated continues to rise, many Independence Day celebrations have once again been canceled, modified or will be held virtually due to the pandemic.
Falmouth's fireworks may have been canceled, but that doesn't mean the town won't celebrate Independence Day in a new way.
Falmouth will hold its first annual Patriotic Home & Business Decorating Contest. Homeowners and business owners registered for the event and will give residents and tourists an opportunity to see Falmouth's patriotism on full display.

Judges will award homes in the follow categories: most creative, most patriotic and judge's choice. Businesses will be awarded for the most attractive decorations. Decorations must be completed by noon, June 27, and judges will announce the winners later that day.

Fourth of July fireworks return to Barnstable for 2021, and there are several municipal lots in downtown Hyannis for people to park for the show and other Independence Day events throughout the day. Parking in Hyannis Center is free for up to six hours. All-day permits can be purchased here.
The Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority (CCRTA) also has hourly parking available after the first 30 minutes free at the Hyannis Transportation Center. Long-term parking is also available for daily rates.
