$7.6M Approved To Replace Falmouth Water Mains
The fall town meeting green lit funds to replace three miles of water main Tuesday.

FALMOUTH, MA – The fall town meeting approved $7.6 million to replace three miles of water main as one of its first actions Tuesday, according to the Cape Cod Times. The funds will be used to replace the sections from downtown to Falmouth Heights and Rt. 28 to Oxbow Road.
The town will use $4.5 million of its free cash and take out a loan for the remainder, the Times Reported.
Town meeting began Tuesday with a number of updates to projects around town, including the senior center – set to open in a year – and the turf field and concession stand at the high school, which are expected to be ready by the time the next football season rolls around.
