Former Massachusetts State Representative Matthew Patrick lost his re-election to the Third Barnstable seat in 2010. Many believe that Matt Patricks’ support for the WESRA, Wind Energy Siting Reform Act ended his political career. Patrick also helped author the complicated and extensive Green Communities Act.

The big question for the November 2014 election is what is Falmouth and other communities going to do with all the poorly placed commercial wind turbines causing health and property rights takings all over Massachusetts ?

Falmouth Wind I was installed while Matthew Patrick was the former state representative.

A letter dated August 2010 was released through the Freedom of Information Act by the Town of Falmouth dated August 2010. The letter shows Vestas wind company, contractors, state and local officials had always been aware of noise issues with hundreds of homes around the wind turbines. The link is below.

My question to Matthew Patrick is: What do you plan to do to resolve health issues, property rights takings of abutter to the wind turbines and ongoing legal action facing the Town of Falmouth ?
