Falmouth Megawatt Wind Turbines Vs Municipal Water Shortages

Falmouth, Massachusetts USA: After 8 Years Of Wind Turbine Litigation Now Not Enough Water To Go Around -A Monumental Political Fiasco!

After eight years of public hearings, nuisance complaints, state-funded facilitations, dueling noise experts, and several fatal court rulings costing hundreds of thousands, the Town of Falmouth doesn't have enough water to go around. The town has declared a "Heat Wave and Water Conservation."

It may be ten years or more before Falmouth can heal from the divisive wind turbine battle that raged since 2009.

Paying off the $14 million wind turbine debt will be a constant reminder. Falmouth Selectboard Chairwoman Susan Moran stated the town has spent $800,000.00 in legal expenses fighting their own taxpayers over types of wind turbine noise and shadow flicker.

All any Falmouth resident has to do is look at the two towns 110-decibel wind turbines shut down by the Massachusetts Superior Court and ask if the 14 to 20 million spent on wind turbines could have better have been spent on the municipal water system?

The Cons of Wind Energy:

Noisy, Threatening to Wildlife, Wind is Unpredictable, Limited Resource, Eyesores, Inefficient, Storage Issues, Land Occupation, Communications - Poor Line of Sight Television Reception, and Installation Costs.

HEALTH HAZARD

Setbacks to megawatt wind turbines need to be ten times the rotor diameter or 3000 plus feet from residential homes.

Our politicians have forgotten the traditional list of immediate "basic needs" is food water, shelter and clothing. Time to stop the insanity.
