Falmouth News Media: Fake Wind Turbine News Lying by Omission

Lying by omission is far worse than lying by commission it denies public action of proving a statement or theory to be right or wrong.

Lying by omission is far, far worse than lying by commission because it denies the public the action of proving a statement or theory to be wrong or false.

Massachusetts when it comes to the news media has the most shocking realization of all because it’s the most suppressed news of all other states.

On October 18, 2017, the "Friends of Falmouth Wind" filed a "Motion To Intervene" four months too late with Falmouth Town Council Frank Duffy over a court order to shut down the Falmouth wind turbines. A copy of the motion to intervene was presented unsolicited to the news media that same day.

Journalistic objectivity requires that a journalist not be on either side of an argument but only a day later the news media presented all the facts about the "Motion to Intervene." The media story as past history shows they left out any comment from the neighbors of the wind turbines or even if they were contacted to comment on the story.

Falmouth residents need to question why they are only getting half the news. Does the news media have an agenda that taxpayers are funding?

The Town of Falmouth at one point had eleven ongoing lawsuits over the wind turbines and Town Meeting Members were approving up to $300,000.00 every six months for litigation. The litigation costs were in addition to 1.8 million the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center provided the town with to defray litigation over the turbines.

The news media has a duty to tell all truth not paint a picture in favor of a group of wind turbine advocates who want to take the health and property rights of a minority of citizens for a failed state wind turbine agenda.

The neighbors of the wind turbines describe the noise from the turbines as torture from lack of sleep causing a multitude of health problems.

We have to ask how can the public have a government representing informed consent, if the news media are over a period of time , and methodically , lying by omission about the most important things, and covering up that government’s worst, most heinous, crimes involving the land-based wind turbine agenda taking health and property rights in at least twenty one communities.

The media can attempt to justify their lying by omission in terms of responsibility to the owners or advertisers over-riding the responsibility they have for their readers and the public in general. The end result is the media loses and has lost all credibility.

Editors are well aware that lying by omission has deadly consequences based on past history of repeatedly ignoring genocide or agendas that take health and property.

On November 21, 2017 Massachusetts Superior Court Judge Cornelius Moriarty has denied a motion to intervene in the case filed recently by the "Friends of Falmouth Wind."

The judge decided:“It is unlikely that the proposed intervenors could establish standing,” and “Moreover, the motion is untimely.”

This is negative news about the commercial wind turbines in which case this news is omitted from Falmouth residents as is in the past wind turbine letter warnings prior to the installations, memos, emails, maps and avoidance of Special Permits that all show the turbines should never have been built

The Falmouth town government and the media cannot continue to lie by omission to its public and still be a democracy.

Falmouth needs a change in its type of government.
