Falmouth Shootings Raise Wind Turbine - Voter Questions

Next Time You Think About Falmouth For A Vacation You May Want To Consider New Bedford As An Alternative. Falmouth Is A Dangerous Place.

Massachusetts local and state politicians prior to any wind turbine installations in 2010 told Falmouth voters the turbines would be a tourist attraction, an unending source of revenue and would combat climate change.

The Falmouth Energy Committee touted the turbines as a tourist attraction but never organized any trips to actually view the turbines close enough to hear the "whoosh" whoosh" of the seven-ton blades. The town knew prior to construction the turbines generate 110 decibels of noise each raising levels to near 60 decibels at up to 200 residential homes but never told voters.

Tourist today go out of their way to snap pictures and get a glimpse of the homegrown Falmoth wind turbine devastation.

Falmouth for years has a problem with 75 to 80 percent of its voters ignoring elections staying home on their couches. Only a small portion of voters in Falmouth decide the fate of hundreds of millions of your tax dollars. The Ugly American today is defined as someone sitting on a couch in a basement drinking beer with a crack pipe who does not vote and that's the way the politicians like it. Welcome to Falmouth.

Falmouth needs to roll back the hands of time as fast as possible go back to voter identification, paper ballots doing away with expensive electronic voting machines and pay attention to where your money is going and the crime rate in your own town. Falmouth voters need to wake up and look around themselves and who are these political hacks running both local and state government.

Citizens around the country looking at Falmouth are aware in June of 2017 the Falmouth Zoning Board and Massachusetts Superior Court has shut down both nuisance Vestas 1.65 megawatt 110-decibel wind turbines owned by the town. The neighbors of the turbines for years have described the noise as torture.

Several Falmouth police sadly recently responded to a disturbing the peace for broken bottles and got wounded. The police routinely respond to calls for barking dogs, bands playing too loud, motorcycles with no mufflers and complaints of loud noise in general but never wind turbine noise because the town owns the wind turbines!

Starting in 2010 when the 110-decibel town-owned wind turbines started operating thousands of noise complaints were made to the Falmouth police department, the board of health and select board. A simple noise meter would show the excessive noise and the town officials were well aware and had documents the turbines generate 110 decibels equal to a hard rock band playing 24/7. The Police Chief and other town officials took no action and allowed the turbines to operate for almost ten years.

Most recently the current Falmouth Police Chief asked to stay on after his mandatory retirement date which was granted through a process that started at the town meeting approval.

The next time you think about Falmouth for a vacation you may want to consider New Bedford as an alternative. The 2016 statistics show the chance of becoming a victim of either violent or property crime in Falmouth is 1 in 42. Based on FBI crime data, Falmouth is "not" one of the safest communities in America. The police blotter in 2018 today is a lot larger than it was in 2016.

The Falmouth crime rate index is 27 Poor (100) is the safest. New Bedford, Massachusetts has a crime rate index of 11 Also Poor. Falmouth falls in the lower third of cities and towns in Massachusetts which includes New Bedford. Of the 50 communities with the HIGHEST per capita percentage of violent crime Falmouth is ranked number 40.

On top of the crime rate statistics, the town installed two commercial wind turbines ignoring the civil rights of their own neighbors for almost ten years. These wind turbine complaints, for the most part, have not been included in crime statistics for Falmouth.

The Town of Falmouth determined the neighbors of the wind turbines have to complain to the Board of Health about the noise rather than the police department. The police department would handle all the other noise complaints.

The Falmouth Board of Health came up with a complaint form that had boxes to check off that request what best describes the wind turbines: Whooshing, Thumping or Jet Engine. Another set of boxes asked to check: Sleep Disturbance, Anxiety,Loss of Appetite, Headaches, Ability to Concentrate Affected. In most cases individuals checked off all the boxes.

The Falmouth Board of Health in order to produce the form to the public was already well aware of the health problems and the two types of noise and shadow flicker.

The town admitted spending $800,000.00 on legal expenses fighting their own citizens. The turbines have turned neighbor against neighbor. The wind turbines took the health and property rights of up to 200 Falmouth residents! How is that not a crime?

The town follows a Democratic National Agenda.

The neighbors of the wind turbines describe the infra-sound as torture.
