Falmouth Town Meeting Approves Turbine Article
The article would allow selectmen to spend $100,000 to study the costs of dismantling the two town owned turbines if voters approve their removal during May's town election.
The article passed with 110 voting for the measure and 91 voting against it, according to the Cape Cod Times.
Selectmen David Braga told the Times they plan on putting a measure that would call for the turbine’s removal on the May town election ballot. It has not yet been determined if the measure would be binding.
We want to know what you think. When all Falmouth residents get the chance to weigh in will it change the outcome? Should the measure placed on May’s ballot be binding?
