Massachusetts courts shut down both town-owned Vestas V-82 type 1.65 megawatt wind turbines in 2017 as they are a nuisance.

Vestas wind turbine company warned the town prior to installation the turbines generate 110 decibels of noise.

A 2005 wind turbine feasibility study done by the Renewable Energy Research Laboratory at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst warned of two distinct types of noise from wind turbines. The two types are regulatory measured in decibels and human annoyance or what is called low frequency. The Falmouth wind turbines installed between 2010 and 2012 are three times the size of those considered by the Massachusetts Renewable Energy Research Laboratory.

The CEO of Vestas Wind Company, Ditlev Engel, in 2011 complained low-frequency noise regulations will force larger setback distances and there is nothing they can do about the noise.

Evidence shows a major flaw in the "Wind Turbine Health Impact Study: Report of Independent Expert Panel. January 2012." Prepared for: Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection.

The so-called expert panel used a wind turbine of a much lower amount of decibels to consider the health risk. In the report experts unknowingly reported a wind turbine generating 110 decibels of noise like one Falmouth turbine does produce infra-sound!

The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection who brokered a 5 million dollar loan on the Falmouth Wind II turbine has never confronted any members of the independent expert panel selected by former Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick a wind turbine advocate.

The United States federal government should require the impacts of infra-sound on the health of residents who live in communities with proposed wind turbine projects.

Infrasound, in particular, is a very real problem, where low-frequency sound waves hurt disrupt the sleep and have debilitating effects on a percent of the population within 3000 feet of one single megawatt wind turbine.

In the United States, thousands suffer headaches and stress from the noise, which disrupts their sleep.

How many times have you heard or read: The noise can be heard in my house even with the doors and windows closed,” “ the turbines just roar! ”

The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection stuck in regulatory capture continues to ignore wind turbine sleep deprivation is the worst.

Human bodies are being attacked by something called infra-sound. Infra-sound is a weapon of war.

Note # Falmouth spent 10 million installing the gear driven turbines designed in the late 1990s.

Falmouth Town Meeting in November 2019 at the request of the Select Board approved 2.5 million and more down the road to disassemble and store the turbines.

The engineering report for the Town of Falmouth estimated in 2011, "a value of $40,000 for each turbine has been assigned as a value for spare parts, provided you could find a willing buyer."

Falmouth also owes a Federal debt on Wind Turbine II Past Due Loan 3.5 Million plus 2 percent interest.

Wind II is subject to specific provisions of ARRA and applicable federal regulations and guidelines- federal law. The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection has indicated and commented on the 5 million Wind II (wind turbine #2) project funding, which was administered by the DEP under the State Revolving Funds (SRF) program.

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 loan brokered by the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection was used to "Danger Public Health & Safety."
