In 2012 an "Expert Panel" was hand picked by former Governor Deval Patrick. The group was given the charge by the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) and Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH) to report the magnitude and frequency of any potential impacts and risks to human health of wind turbines.

The expert panel failed to consider a commercial megawatt wind turbine could generate more than 103.5 decibels of noise.

The so called expert panel used a 103.5 decibel wind turbine as its model resulting in a massive fatal flaw in the study.

The first megawatt wind turbines built in the state: Falmouth, Massachusetts.

Massachusetts state and local officials had emails and letters prior to the construction of the first megawatt wind turbines ever built in Massachusetts they are twice as loud as the model used in the state study. The state of Massachusetts owned the wind turbines in 2005 and had the specifications.

There is increasing concern that most current 2012 published research findings are false as just one Falmouth wind turbine a Vestas V-82 generates 110 decibels twice as loud on a decibel scale as those used in the study. It has also been found statewide that many other turbines also generate more than 103.5 decibels of noise. These turbines are a nuisance state wide.

Falmouth Town Meeting in 2019 voted 2.5 million to decommission the two town owned wind turbines. In June of 2017 the Massachusetts courts shut down the town owned wind turbines forever.

A singel Vestas V-82 wind turbine needs a setback of almost 3000 feet for residential property owners at 110 decibels of noise.

The Town of Falmouth purchased two Vestas V -82 commercial wind turbines that had been in storage since 2005.

The Falmouth turbines were built on the same model as the NEG Micon N-82 a former Danish wind turbine manufacturer. The company failed due to gear box failures.

NEG Micon was merged with Danish wind turbine manufacturer, Vestas, in 2004, and it operated under that name. NEG Micon turbine had many different models and NM-82 turbines.

Each Vestas turbine produces 110 decibels of noise twice as loud as the turbine used in the "Wind Turbine Health Impact Study: Report of Independent Expert Panel January 2012."

The study was Prepared for: "Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection Massachusetts Department of Public Health"

"P a g e 2. The sound power level of a typical modern utility scale wind turbine is on the order of 103 dB(A), but can be somewhat higher or lower depending on the details of the design and the rated power of the turbine."
