Local Talent provides entertainment for Woods Hole Woman's Club Meeting
Dramatic Performances Warm the Room

Several members of the Woods Hole Woman’s Club entertained members and guests attending the group’s January 10 meeting at Fisher House, Church of the Messiah, Woods Hole. Presentations by San Lyman, Jeannette Fullerton, Mary Swope, and Nawrie Meigs-Brown included Words of Wisdom by Well-Known Witty Women, an Ode to Changing Times in a Scottish village, and a reading of the final pages of Thornton Wilder's play, Our Town. Finally, two members presented a dramatic reading of part of Wendy Wasserstein's play, Isn't it Romantic. While the club’s programs typically feature outside speakers and performers, this meeting revealed ample talent within the membership.
The Woods Hole Woman’s Club brings members together to provide enrichment and mutual helpfulness for the betterment of Woods Hole and the surrounding communities. Monthly meetings from October through April include informative presentations, entertainment, and social events. Members raise money for college scholarships and support other community organizations through various club activities. New members are welcomed at any time during the year. Information about membership is available from Susan Houghton at 508-540-0578.
