The wind turbine demonstration begins at 11 AM

The point of the informational demonstration this year is to bring attention to the commercial wind turbine noise fiasco in twenty one communities.The most recent Plymouth and Bourne. Falmouth is ground zero for poorly placed wind turbines in the United States
Article 97 of the Massachusetts Constitution “ The people shall have the right to clean air and water, freedom from excessive and unnecessary noise……”

Massachusetts Noise Regulation 310 CMR 7.10(1) : “No person owning, leasing or controlling a source of sound shall willfully, negligently, or through failure to provide necessary equipment, service or maintenance or to take necessary precautions cause, suffer, allow, or permit unnecessary emissions from said source of sound that may cause noise.”

The Massachusetts Technology Collaborative today the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center in 2005 waned of two distinct types of noise The two types of noise were “regulatory” measured in decibels and “human annoyance” measured in low frequency.

Massachusetts citizens health and well-being have been negatively affected by the operation of the turbines. (Sleep disturbance, headaches, increase in blood pressure, shortness of breath, tinnitus, vertigo, to mention some symptoms).

In January 2012, the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (“MassDEP”) together with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (“DPH”) WIND TURBINE HEALTH IMPACT STUDY found that noise from wind turbines can result in sleep disruption and annoyance.

Massachusetts held at least three public hearings, over 500 comments received. Many comments concern noise, infra sound.

Shadow flicker was also a concern. At sunset and sunrise the sun passing through the blades creates a strobe affect in many homes

Local town governments like Falmouth and Fairhaven have initiated their own written certified noise complaint forms. Thousands of complaints have been ignored.

The Attorney General is the chief lawyer and law enforcement officer of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In addition,the office is an advocate and resource for the Commonwealth and its residents in many areas, including protecting consumers. Massachusetts has created a second class group of citizens living under the blades of these commercial wind turbines.

The Massachusetts state constitution does not allow the creation of second class citizens
Massachusetts state and local officials since 2005 have been ignoring the health and property rights of citizens for a commercial wind turbine renewable energy agenda gone horribly wrong.

Every time a wind turbine goes up in a residential neighborhood the state takes no action and the neighbors have to hire a law firm.

The state rather than enact existing noise rules and regulations is helping finance the Town of Falmouth litigation fees against its own citizens.The state is using tax money collected through your electric bills to help finance litigation against those paying their electric bills

Here is a portion of a press release from the Mass CEC stating they will pay for the Town of Falmouth litigation fees :
“With this funding, MassCEC seeks to help the town recover costs associated with project curtailment. To date the town has incurred unexpected costs resulting from community concerns, voluntary reductions in operation due to unanticipated sound levels and related litigation.”

The bottom line :
The State of Massachusetts is not going to help you. You have to help yourself protect your health and property rights

These 400 foot commercial wind turbines do not belong near residential neighborhoods taking your health and property rights for an agenda gone horribly wrong
