MassCEC Falmouth Wind Turbine 2013 Memo Shows Contempt Twice

April 2, 2013 Mass Clean Energy Center admitted acoustic noise mistakes in noise tests - Memo written incorrectly -approved by MassCEC

Massachusetts Clean Energy Center April 2, 2013 Wind Turbine Memo Shows Contempt

This 4/2/2013 memo was written after the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection found the Falmouth wind turbines exceed the state noise guidelines 310-CMR-7.10

A Memo written by Massachusetts Clean Energy Staff and approved by the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center Board of Directors shows even while admitting in a memo to acoustic noise mistakes in wind studies prior to the installations of the Falmouth wind turbines even the memo was wrong !

The memo states the original MTC -commissioned feasibility study for Falmouth over-estimated the likely acoustic impact which is wrong. The memo should have said under-estimated. The MassDEP did find the MTC study under-estimated the noise levels !

Massachusetts Technology Collaborative today known as the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center when they wrote the April 2, 2013 memo also left out the fact they knew the turbines generate 110 decibels of noise. They ( MTC & MassCEC ) were the owners of Falmouth Wind I and had all the specifications, warning letters, emails, maps and documents.

The 110 decibel Vestas warning letter remained hidden until after a Freedom of Information Act, FOIA, request after the memo was written. The warning letter is the "Smoking Gun."

They knew the turbines should never have been placed near residential homes and disguised multiple instances of hiding information as " mistakes." The entire project is a "mistake" taking health and property rights for a wind turbine agenda gone what they knew horribly wrong.
