Ocean Wind Turbine Companies Blackball Falmouth
Congressional hearing Feb 6, 2019, by House Natural Resources Committee the Falmouth land wind turbines are a disaster 10 million wasted.

Falmouth, Massachusetts is ground zero for poorly placed commercial megawatt wind turbines in the United States taking health and property rights.
The town and state prior to construction of the two town-owned wind turbines in 2010 and 2012 had been warned the turbines generate 110 decibels of noise. Ignoring the warnings led to as many as eleven lawsuits over ten years.
In June of 2017, the Massachusetts courts shut down the two chest pounding wind turbines as loud as a rock band playing 24/7. In December of 2017, the Falmouth Building Commissioner determined that the town's wind turbine, Wind 1, is a non-complying structure and needs to come down.

Two years later the saga continues the turbines remain shut down but the massive airplane strobe warning lights remind the neighbors of the noise described as torture, strobe effect of blades passing through the sun and the parade of law firms hired by the town to keep the turbines up even today.
At this point, the Falmouth Select Board keeping the wind turbines standing has more than likely Blackballed the town from ever seeing anyone from the wind turbine industry come to Falmouth Harbor or anywhere else in town.

On February 6, 2019, at a Congressional hearing, the Falmouth wind experience was described as a ten million dollar disaster. Governor Charles Baker acknowledged, in turn, the Falmouth wind turbine project did not go as planned but two years later after the June 2017 court shutdown the turbines are still standing.
In 2012 around the installation time of the second Falmouth land-based wind turbine the ocean wind turbine company at that time planned to move its headquarters to a location in the Falmouth Marina creating many jobs.
In September of 2018, the new ocean wind turbine company met with the Falmouth Select Board. The new ocean wind turbine company bypassed Falmouth as its headquarters selecting New Bedford and creating a community benefit partnership.
The Town of Falmouth lost between 50 and 100 six plus figure jobs as a result of being bypassed for the ocean wind turbine headquarters. The Select Board and Town Meeting Members you might say shot themselves and the neighbors of the wind turbines in the foot.
100 jobs at Falmouth Harbor as a wind turbine headquarters at $100,000.00 per year equals 10 million a year the exact amount lost on the two town owned wind turbines! No one does math in the Town of Falmouth ? Why have a Town Manager ?
The only ones that made money in Falmouth was the Boston - Beacon Hill law firms
The town never installed the two land-based wind turbines with good intentions they hid and continue to hide the warning letter, emails, memos, and maps that showed the Falmouth land-based wind turbines were too loud.

Dear -------------------,
The Town has previously been provided with the Octave Band Data / Sound performance for the V82 turbine. This shows that the turbine normally operates at 103.2dB but the manufacturer has also stated that it may produce up to 110dB under certain circumstances.
