Rudolf Wins Falmouth State Senator Primary

The Democratic nominee will face incumbent State Sen. Vinny DeMacedo in the general election.

FALMOUTH, MA – The results are in, and Deborah Rudolf edged out Stephen Michael Palmer for the Democratic nomination for state senator in Falmouth. Rudolf received 1,696 votes versus Palmer's 1,360, according to the town's unofficial results.

The winner of the Plymouth & Barnstable District primary will go up against incumbent State. Sen. Vinny DeMacedo, a Republican, in the general election Nov. 6.

Rudolf was leading Palmer across the district 6,449-4,732 as of 12:20 a.m., WBUR reported.
