Salt Marshes of Cape Cod

Celebrate Spring with the second of a three-part lecture series by Mass Audubon specialists at Falmouth Public Library.

Salt marshes are some of the most biologically rich communities in the world since they serve as nurseries for many species of fish and shellfish. With increasing coastal development, many of Cape Cod's salt marshes have become degraded, something that affects both animals and humans. Learn more about these rich habitats, the creatures within them and how they protect us from flooding and storm events.

Saturday, May 14th 2-3 PM at the Falmouth Public Library, 300 Main St. Falmouth. For further information, contact the reference department at 508-457-2555 x 6 or email info@falmouthpubliclibrary.org
