Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates Honors Joanne Svenson

Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates recently honored Joanne Svenson, NP, with the Robert H. Ebert Excellence in Teaching Award. Harvard Vanguard is a multi-specialty physician practice with offices across eastern Massachusetts and an affiliate of Atrius Health.

Svenson is a nurse practitioner in the Internal Medicine department at Harvard Vanguard’s Kenmore practice. She has been with Harvard Vanguard since 1980.

The Robert H. Ebert Excellence in Teaching Award is given to Harvard Vanguard clinicians who make outstanding contributions to teaching. The organization’s leadership role in teaching remains steadfast. Harvard Vanguard clinician-teachers help other clinicians adapt to a changing healthcare environment by affirming the traditional values of patient care and by helping students and colleagues learn how to manage quality and cost of care efficiently.
