YMCA of Greater Boston adds George Gilmer, Managing Director for BNY Mellon Asset Servicing, to Its General Board

George Gilmer added to the YMCA of Greater Boston's general board

The YMCA of Greater Boston recently added a new member to its general board, George Gilmer, managing director and head of U.S. asset servicing for BNY Mellon Asset Servicing. Gilmer received an M.B.A from the University of Rhode Island and a B.S. in accounting from Westfield State University. He will serve the YMCA of Greater Boston board for three years, helping to govern and lead the more than 160-year-old institution and ensure that the Y delivers on its mission to strengthen the foundations of community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The YMCA of Greater Boston is a $65 million social services organization that employs more than 1,500 individuals with over 74 branches, program sites and camps.
