FOXBOROUGH, MA — New England Patriots wide receiver Antonio Brown addressed the media Thursday for the first time since facing accusations he sexually assaulted his former trainer. Brown's press conference was brief lasting just over a minute and only fielding four question.

He didn't answer reporters' specific questions about if the NFL's investigation into the allegations will affect his availability going forward. He kept the focus on football throughout the interview.

"I'm super grateful to be here to play for Bill Belichick and Tom Brady, you know," Brown said. "I got a lot of the offense to learn and catch up. But I'm excited and grateful to be here and be a part of these guys."

Reporters asked him a second time and Brown again shifted the focus away from the accusations and talked about getting ready to play Sunday.

"I appreciate that question," Brown said. "I'm just here to focus on ball and looking forward to getting out there in the home stadium and being with the team."

Brown was also asked what it's been like to be around Tom Brady. He told reporters it's been a "tremendous honor."

"He's been here a long time a lot of details, a lot of work ethic, a great guy to be around," Brown told reporters. "He just inspires everyone here."

The interview comes on the same day Brown lost his endorsement deal with Nike following claims by his former trainer that he sexually assaulted her on three occasions between June 2017 and May 2018. Brown denied the accusations in a statement released by his attorney, Darren Heitner.

A second woman also accused Antonio Brown of sexual misconduct while she painted a mural at his Pennsylvania home. Brown denied her claim.
